Maintenance Technician

Job Description Summary

Responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and supporting production operations for all maintenance repairs and mechanical problems such as conveyors, machine automation, robots, CNC lathes, and forge presses.

Job Description

• Perform preventive, predictive, and routine inspection maintenance
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic operations
• Able to utilize measuring techniques and devices
• Provide input on improving operation efficiencies
• Able to read blueprints and other mechanical drawings
• Able to drive a forklift, scissor lift, and a boom lift
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

Required Skills and Education

• Strong mechanical analytical problem-solving ability
• Ability to read and troubleshoot schematics
• Ability to troubleshoot lube and grease systems
• Experience in electrical, welding, sheet metal fabrication, or pipe fitting a plus
• Experience in repairing, rebuilding, or setting up mechanical gear box assemblies
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work as a team or independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills
• Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar role, ideally in production environment

Applicants must pass maintenance exam with an 80% or better to qualify.
