Auch wirkt der EHS Rep (m/w/d) bei der Beschaffung von technischen Arbeitsmitteln und der Einführung von Arbeitsverfahren und Arbeitsstoffen mit.

The safety engineer takes on numerous tasks in occupational safety in the company. They provide advice and support in the planning, implementation and maintenance of operating facilities and social and sanitary facilities. They are also involved in the procurement of technical equipment and the introduction of work processes and materials.

Job Description

Aufgaben:

• Entwicklung, Pflege und Überwachung des Umwelt, Energie und Arbeitsschutzmanagements
• Planung von Umwelt, Energie und Arbeitsschutzmaßnahmen in Übereinstimmung mit den Unternehmenszielen und der Gesetzgebung
• Umsetzung gesetzlicher Anforderungen zum Umgang mit Gefahrstoffen
• Ermittlung von Einsparpotenzialen, Ausarbeitung und Förderung von Methoden und -Techniken zur Energieeinsparung
• Einleitung und Überwachung der Wirksamkeit von Maßnahmen des E4-AAM-Umweltmanagements und des S4-AAM-Safety-Management
• Mitwirkung bei der Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung von internen und externen Audits
• Beratung und Unterstützung der Führungskräfte und Mitarbeiter in den Bereichen Umwelt, Energie und Arbeitsschutz
• Durchführung von Schulungen für Mitarbeiter und Führungskräfte sowie von Risikoanalysen und Gefährdungsbeurteilungen

Tasks:

• Development, maintenance and monitoring of environmental, energy and occupational health and safety management 
• Planning environmental, energy and occupational health and safety measures in accordance with company objectives and legislation
• Implementation of legal requirements for handling hazardous substances
• Identifying potential savings, developing and promoting methods and techniques for saving energy
• Initiating and monitoring the effectiveness of E4-AAM environmental management and S4-AAM safety management measures
• Participating in the planning, implementation and evaluation of internal and external audits
• Advising and supporting managers and employees in the areas of the environment, energy and occupational health and safety
• Conducting training courses for employees and managers as well as risk analyses and hazard assessments

Required Skills and Education

Qualifikation:

• Meister, Techniker oder Ingenieur im industriellen Bereich (m/w/d)
• Berufserfahrung im Bereich Energie- und Umweltmanagement sowie Arbeitsschutz
• Fachkunde Gefahrstoffe
•  Fachkunde Abfall und Entsorgung von Vorteil
• Fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich Umwelt- und Energiemanagementsysteme nach DIN EN ISO 50001 und 14001
• Fundierte Kenntnisse der Normen, Gesetze und Richtlinien
• Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sind von Vorteil
• Sicherer Umgang mit MS-Office und Erfahrung in der Nutzung von Betriebssoftware

Qualification:

• Master craftsman, technician or engineer in the industrial sector 
• Professional experience in the field of energy and environmental management as well as occupational health and safety
• Specialist knowledge of hazardous substances
• Specialist knowledge of waste and disposal is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of environmental and energy management systems in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 and 14001
• Sound knowledge of standards, laws and guidelines
• Good written and spoken English skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office and experience in the use of operating software
