Job Description Summary

Provides mechanical and technical support for manufacturing equipment and technology.Monitors and resolves mechanical and equipment problems on the production line. Escalates in line with established guidelines.Provides technical support for new equipment installation. Performs maintenance and parts replacement.Coordinates with purchasing and vendors on acquisition and disposal of equipment.Logs and documents production problems. Identifies and reports potential problem areas.

Job Description

•Identifies maintenance and reliability problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results; investigating complaints and suggestions; interviewing process supervisors and operators.
•Anticipates maintenance and reliability problems by studying operating targets, modes of operation, unit limitations; monitoring unit performance (FMEA).
•Maintains safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; immediately addressing issues and alerting others regarding potential concerns.
•Provides maintenance management information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating and engineering data and trends.
•Contributes to engineering and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
•Engages in activities aimed towards the seamless integration of new equipment to include overseeing the procurement, installation, operation and maintenance.
•All other duties as assigned.
