Job Description Summary

As a Continuous Improvement Intern at American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. (“AAM”) you will be allowed the opportunity to work side-by-side our skilled professionals to assist in the operations of our organization. This role has the potential to expose you to multiple areas of our organization. You will be assigned tasks and projects based on your educational level, current skills, targeted development opportunities in line with current business and projected needs.

Job Description

• Continuous review of current processes and products.

• Support and participate in company's effort for continual improvement..

• Timely communication of project status and relevant issues.

• Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Assist operations team with reporting and duties as needed.

• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• Currently enrolled at an accredited educational institution or technical school.

• Must be in good standing and/or minimum of 3.0 GPA.
