White Light Operator

Job Description Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Meet production targets, and quality goals.
• Environmental/Safety requirements
• Perform quality checks every hour in PLEX
• Performs other quality checks on a variety of quality gages
• Follow the White Light inspection work instruction,
• The operator then removes the con-rod from the gage and places it into a coin slot gage.
• Part slides through coin slot gage – operator places onto a continuous moving pack out conveyor belt.
• Set Up modules using operator interface and robot pendent controller at all set ups and when needed for production quality, assure picks and places are always set properly.
• Work in a safe manner always and complies with 5S initiatives.
• Pass the White Light sorting test given by engineering.
• Understand SDS (Safety Data Sheet) System / Labeling.
• WI (Work Instructions) location and understanding.
• Reference the Physical Demand Analysis for this job.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Education

H.S. Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Manufacturing background preferred.  Working knowledge and ability to operate production machines, make adjustments, ability to gauge and measure parts, perform SPC and quality checks, complete X & R charts.
