Maintenance Technician

Job Description Summary

Support Production operations for all maintenance and repairs for mechanical problems such as but not limited to robots and forge presses. Strong electrical skills are required, but the job requirements may also require hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical troubleshooting skills and abilities.

Maintenance Technician pay ranges from $26.00 - $29.00/ hour along with shift premiums for second and third shifts. Benefits include paid vacation and holidays, overtime, 401k with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance.

Job Description

• Support Production operations for all maintenance and repairs for mechanical problems such as but not limited to conveyors and machine automation, robots and forge presses.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain all plant equipment through the application of sound troubleshooting techniques and repair methodology.
• Work from available mechanical drawings and equipment specifications and schematics.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits / equipment.
• Basic welding principles / skilled in Mig / Arc welding
• Perform preventive, predictive, and routine inspection maintenance.
• Able to drive a forklift, scissor lift / articulating arm boom truck.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Required Skills and Education

• High School Diploma or GED
