A Cost Estimating Analyst is responsible for analyzing and estimating the costs associated with projects, products, or services.

Job Description

• A Cost Estimating Analyst is responsible for analyzing and estimating the costs associated with projects, products, or services.
• Gather and evaluate data related to project requirements, resources, labor, materials, and overhead costs.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates, create cost models, and ensure budget adherence throughout a project’s lifecycle.
• Use specialized software and methodologies to perform cost analysis and forecasting, ensuring that financial goals are met while minimizing risks and potential overruns.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills are essential for the role.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 3 -5 Years of experience working in a financial or analytical role
• experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using financial software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Stong attention to detail and analytical skills
• 5 - 7 Years of experience working in a financial or analytical role
• Experience using PLEX systems
