Job Description:
- Repair, rebuild, and maintain casting and trim dies in line with the original specifications.
- Use blue prints to build and replace segments, cores, details, and parts.
- Draw polish or grind die cavity surfaces.
- Make repairs, remove stuck castings, correct dimensional problems, change cores and trim punches.
- Perform welding duties as needed.
- Troubleshoot all production tooling problems to determine best course of action.
- Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to complete assigned work.
Required Skills and Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical education and/or experience
