• The Supply Chain Coordinator Europe (m/w/d) supports and develops supply chain processes at multiple production sites in Germany and selected additional locations within Europe.
• Acting as a key player in internal audits, the Supply Chain Coordinator Europe (m/w/d) collaborates with multiple stakeholders at the production sites and assists them in identifying areas for improvement and potential risks.
• Additionally, the Supply Chain Coordinator Europe (m/w/d) liases with AAM customers and/or suppliers to resolve Supply Chain and logistic issues.

DEUTSCH

• Dokumentiert und analysiert den Materialfluss in mehreren Produktionsstätten und ermittelt Korrekturmaßnahmen (bei Bedarf)
• Unterstützt bei der Einführung von Systemen für das Lieferkettenmanagement (SCM) und die Bestandskontrolle
• Stellt der Integrität der SCM-Daten des Werks sicher und überwacht das Bestandsbericht
• Hilft bei der Umsetzung der Konzern-Prozessstandards und -anforderungen
• Fungiert als interner Prüfer für Lieferketten- und Sicherheitsprozesse
• Schlägt Initiativen zur Kosteneinsparung im Zusammenhang mit Verpackung, Fracht und/oder Transport vor
• Unterstützt bei der Lösung von Problemen seitens Lieferanten bzw. Kunden
• Führt Schulungen zu AAM-Richtlinien und -prozessen durch und unterstützt die Implementierung von Modellanlagen
• Unterstützung der jährlichen Inventur und des Cycle-Counting-Prozesses
• Alle anderen Aufgaben wie zugewiesen

• Documents and analyses the material flow at multiple manufacturing facilities, identifying corrective actions as needed
• Supports the implementation of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and inventory control systems
• Ensures the integrity of plant SCM data and monitors the inventory report
• Assists in achieving corporate process standards and requirements
• Acts as internal auditor for supply chain and safety processes
• Proposes cost saving initiatives associated with packaging, freight and/or transport
• Assists with the resolution of supplier and customer issues
• Delivers training on AAM standard procedures and processes, supports model plant implementation
• Supports the annual physical inventory and cycle-counting processes
• All other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Education

DEUTSCH

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium in einem technischen oder betriebswirtschaftlichen Fachgebiet (oder vergleichbar)
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer Supply Chain- oder Logistik-Position, idealerweise im Automobil- oder Produktionsumfeld
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in einem ERP-System, Erfahrung mit Oracle willkommen
• Prozessorientierte, strukturierte Arbeitsweise, Fähigkeit zum selbstständigen Arbeiten
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit, gepaart mit Service- und Lösungsorientierung
• Bereitschaft zu Dienstreisen innerhalb Deutschlands/Europas (ca. 5 Tage/Monat)
• Sehr gute deutsche und englische Sprachkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

ENGLISH

• Successfully completed Degree in an engineering or business discipline (or similar)
• At least 5 years’ professional experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics-related position, ideally in an automotive or serial production environment
• Sound knowledge of an ERP system, experience with Oracle welcome
• Process-orientated, structured way of working, ability to work unaided
• Well-developed communication skills coupled with service and solution orientation
• Willingness to travel for business across Germany/Europe (approximately 5 days/month)
• Very good written and spoken German and English language competence
