Job Description Summary

This Maintenance Technician role requires knowledge in electrical, plumbing, safety controls and machine repair. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in electrical systems as well as machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Job Description:

  • At least 5+ years of Maintenance experience (or equivalent job experience)
  • Independently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V / 600V AC & DC
  • Read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control prints
  • Vast understanding of electrical and plumbing
  • Operation and minor maintenance of a variety of hand and power tools
  • Safety equipment and practices related to the work, including the handling of hazardous materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance activities on equipment including lubrication, inspection, and replacement parts
  • Assist with MRO and supply items
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting advanced maintenance problems and determining a solution
  • Understanding of Hydraulics and fuel systems
  • Use of 5S and general area clean-up

Required Skills and Education

Understanding of the manufacturing process, daily operations, material handling, quality criteria, safety issues, and troubleshooting ability. A high school diploma is required as well.
