Stockroom / Que Attendant

Job Description Summary

Receives and stores and issues equipment material, supplies, or tools. Compiles stock records in stockroom. Coordinates flow of product to and from finishing operations. Initiates, receives, and reconciles purchase orders

Job Description:

• Follows safe operating procedures
• Maintain 7S standards
• Performs TPM activities as required
• Review Standard work, quality policies, processes, and operator instructions
• Perform Quality checks as required on incoming items, and accurately record using Plexus.
• Identifies, contains, and generates Discrepant Material Label / Report for any nonconforming material and forwards to the Material Review Board
• Communicates with co-workers to discuss problems and concerns
• Manage Stockroom inventory
• Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or Invoices
• Examine stock to verify conformance to specification
• Store articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material
• Fills orders or issues from stock
• Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock (cycle counts)
• Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders
• Compile reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location charges, and refusal of shipments
• Issuance of non-stock items to appropriate departments
• Distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued

Required Skills and Education

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

• Must have good communication skills to communicate with vendors and internal personnel
• Required to obtain lift truck certification
• Must get a physical card to drive single axle truck
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and Plex business system
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle
