We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for leading and facilitating the implementation of global and site-specific quality initiatives and their continual improvements. Responsible for the day-to-day site quality engineering activities.Job Description:
Duties
- Follow and abide by all safety standards and expectations.
- Monitor and review process activities. Initiate engineering change requests. Complete Internal Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR).
- Responsible for and/or participate in Material Review Board (MRB) and Design Review Board.
- Plan and implement inspection instruction sheets and assist Inspectors.
- Conduct Statistical Process Control activities.
- Complete Internal Problem-Solving Reports.
- Corrective/Preventive action issues
- Train others as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager.
Skills
- Proficient in analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance and quality control methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes, tools, and techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications
- Proficient in quality system development, automotive quality systems/technical specifications
- Must possess management system auditing and problem-solving skills and experience in customer concern management is essential.
- Must be computer efficient MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Access
- Working knowledge of statistical techniques, data analysis and root cause tools
- Self-directed goal-oriented individual possessing excellent communication, presentation, and organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to teach/train/facilitate and lead the execution of Quality initiatives in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Manufacturing Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
