• They will work closely with multiple departments and key stakeholders at a corporate level in the US and liase with their counterparts in Europe on a wide variety of strategic and developmental topics within our matrix organization

• Organisation und Tracking strategischer Initiativen und Projekte zur Unternehmensentwicklung in Europa, mit Verantwortung für die rechtzeitige Einhaltung von Fristen
• Unterstützung von Projektleiter:innen in allen Projektphasen vom Beginn bis zum erfolgreichen Abschluss, um sicherzustellen, dass die Ziele und Fristen eingehalten werden
• Erstellung umfassender Umsetzungspläne zu kosteneffizienter Betriebs- und Marktentwicklungsaktivitäten
• Koordinierung funktionsübergreifender Teams zur Entwicklung von Geschäftsstrategien und -zielen, um die Übereinstimmung mit den Unternehmenszielen sicherzustellen
• Identifizierung und aktive Support von Initiativen zur Verbesserung der betrieblichen Effizienz, z.B. Prozessverbesserungen, technischer Innovationen und Kostensenkungen
• Zusammenarbeit mit der Unternehmensführung zur Aktualisierung und Anpassung der Geschäftspläne nach Bedarf
• Organisation der jährlichen strategischen Planung für Europa, ggf. in Zusammenarbeit mit internen und externen Partnern

• Orchestrate and follow up on strategic initiatives and corporate development projects in Europe, carrying responsibility for the timely meeting of deadlines
• Support Project Managers in all phases from project inception through to successful completion, ensuring objectives and deadlines are met
• Create comprehensive business plans to facilitate cost-effective operations and market development activities
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop business strategies and objectives, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
• Identify and drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency including process improvements, technical innovations and cost reductions
• Liase with corporate leadership for updates and adjust business plans as needed
• Organize annual strategic planning for Europe, liasing with internal and external partners as needed
• All other tasks as directed

Required Skills and Education

DEUTSCH

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Bachelor- oder Master-Studium der BWL bzw. einer Engineering-Disziplin mit MBA-Abschluss (oder vergleichbar)
• Mindestens 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer strategischen Rolle in einem dynamischen Geschäftsumfeld 
• Erfahrung im Projektmanagement
• Gute Skills in der Finanzanalyse als Grundlage für Entscheidungsfindung
• Fähigkeit zu Forecasting und Trend-Erkenntnis auf Grundlage historischer Daten bzw. Marktanalysen
• Sehr gute Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten, insbesondere gegenüber Entscheidungsträgern auf C-Ebene
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse gängiger Office-Anwendungen, z. B. MS-Excel, MS-Powerpoint, BI-Systeme
• Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse, gute Deutschkenntnisse, Kenntnisse einer weiteren europäischen Sprache von Vorteil

ENGLISH

• Successfully completed Bachelors or Masters degree in either Business Administration or in an Engineering discipline with an MBA (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years’ professional experience in a strategic organizational position in a fast-moving business environment
• Experience in project management
• Proficiency in financial analysis to inform decision-making
• Ability to forecast and understand future trends based on historical data and market analysis
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially towards key decision-makers at C-level
• Familiarity with business tools e.g. MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and other BI systems
• Strong English language skills essential, good knowledge of German, knowledge of an additional European language an advantage
