Job Description Summary

We are searching for a CAD Designer Co-op to contribute to our product engineering group. This position is based out of our Advanced Technology and Development center in Detroit, Michigan.

Job Description

• Design by using NX CAD system
• Model simple or complex parts and assemblies as well as dependent components
• Detail drawings and apply GD&T for both assemblies and dependent components with Engineering guidance
• Develop new designs and re-designs, using internal or external prints, models, sketches and verbal instructions
• Perform max/min tolerance stack-ups with Engineering guidance.
• Customer data management
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• Must have completed basic design and CAD coursework.

• NX and CATIA knowledge/experience required.
• Enrolled in a 2 or 4 year degree program in an accredited college or university fulltime with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Available 25 hours each week year round
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship
