Job Description

• Assists with employment processing, records management, and completing personnel transactions.
• Facilitates new hire orientations.
• Supports Human Resources Business Partners with employment-based visas.
• Supports coaching people leaders and associates.
• Assists with HR compliance activities such as Applicant Flow Logs and Unemployment Claims.
• Supports organizational change materials and processing.
• Completes special human resources projects and supports associate engagement events.
• Maintains confidence and keeps information confidential.
• Follows legal requirements by making sure adherence to requirements.
• Contributes to human resources and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• High School Diploma or GED.
• HR experience at a large, global corporation.
• Knowledge of HR principles and procedures for compensation and benefits, employee relations, and personnel information systems.
• Strong understanding of Michigan employment laws.
• Customer-centric approach to support associates, leaders and others to meet business needs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on Excel.
• Experience with Workday or other cloud-based HRIS platform.
