As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will support the design, development, and integration of robotic automation systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is eager to contribute to the full lifecycle of automation projects—from mechanical design to build, assembly, and system integration.

The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical engineering skills, working knowledge of robotic integration (FANUC preferred), and a willingness to contribute in areas such as light electrical work, wiring, and tooling assembly.

This role is central to our internal automation and integration efforts, supporting advanced material handling, assembly, and robotic processes across multiple plant locations.

Job Description

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for robotic automation including end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), part-handling fixtures, and conveyor solutions.

  • Collaborate on robot integration and basic programming (FANUC preferred); training available.

  • Assist in physical assembly, wiring, and hands-on build of automation systems and tooling.

  • Partner with senior engineers to support automation cell builds from design through commissioning.

  • Modify mechanical designs and fixtures based on project requirements and feedback from plant operations.

  • Engage in team-based design and problem solving, contributing ideas and adjustments during active project phases.

  • Travel (30–35%) to plant sites for system installation, troubleshooting, and support.

  • Participate in system documentation (mechanical drawings, BOMs, basic layout diagrams).

  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline required.

  • 2–5 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in automation or manufacturing environments.

  • Experience with CAD tools (e.g., NX, AutoCAD, or similar).

  • Basic familiarity with robot programming (FANUC or similiar).
