Electrician

•    Support production operations for all maintenance and repairs for electrical problems on a variety of machines such as but not limited to robots, CNC lathes, mills, conveyors, induction heating equipment and forging presses.
•    Analyze, troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment through the application of sound PLC troubleshooting techniques and superior repair methodology.
•    Work from available drawings and equipment specifications and schematics.
•    Perform preventive, predictive, and routine inspection maintenance.
•    Select materials and operate equipment to complete work including electrical hand tools, conduit bending equipment, megger insulation tester and voltage or ampere measuring devices
•    Maintains a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
•    Follow all applicable state, federal, and local regulations.
•    Follow all MIOSHA and AAM safety rules.

• The starting wage for an Electrician is $35.35 plus a shift premium for off shifts (2nd shift: $.75/hour & 3rd shift $.75/hour).

Required Skills and Education

• Experience with relay logic, motors, motor starters and control circuits for AC & DC Motors.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team or independently with little supervision.
• Shift flexibility is essential.

Preferred

• PLC experience with Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc
• Journeyman's Card (Electrician)
