Has the ability to read a tooling blueprint and analyze drawing specifications, to lay out material stock as required, and to set up, operate and program machines listed below.

Job Description

• Environmental/Safety Requirements.

• Set Up and Operate Track Lathe.

• Set Up and Operate Track Mill.

• Set Up and Operate Manual Lathe.

• Set Up and Operate CNC Mill.

• Basic Grinding Operation (Surface, Rotary and ID-OD).

• General understanding of Heat Treating.

• Ability to interact / support maintenance.

• Assist with tool maintenance.

• WI location and understanding.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). One year machinist certificate from college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
