AAM is searching for a job Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. This position will be based out of our World Headquarters location in Detroit, MI.The primary focus of this role will be on Business Intelligence and Data Science. The candidate will be expected to play a major role in meeting with business users, requirement gathering, documentation, production support, daily reporting, learning business processes, data mining techniques, performing statistical analysis, building high-quality prediction systems, and consolidating information from various sources to help the business find answers and recommend solutions that drive meaningful actions.
Job Description
- Learn and understand business processes. Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to streamline business processes.
- Expertise in BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R and SQL.
- Conduct data processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Utilize and apply Machine Learning techniques and algorithms such as Time Series Analysis and Neural Networks.
- Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain documentation and operational procedures.
- Coordinate activities with vendors/consulting firms responsible for any related systems/projects.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
- Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related fields.
