Team Lead Maintenance (3rd Shift)

Job Description Summary

Seeking a manufacturing maintenance leader with demonstrated reasoning, guidance, coaching and training. This position will lead a team of 6-8 maintenance technicians during off shift operations in accordance with work plans, PM schedules and on demand needs.

Job Description

  • Supports Production operations with all maintenance and repairs for electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems such as (but not limited to) 3-axis CNC mills, conveyors, machine automation, and robots.
  • Analyzes, solves problems, and maintains all plant equipment using sound troubleshooting techniques and repair methodology.
  • Work from available mechanical and electrical drawings and equipment specifications and schematics.
  • Assist with research of parts as necessary.
  • Perform preventative, predictive, and routine inspection maintenance per work orders.
  • Reads and interprets safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, quality documents, set-up instructions, blueprints, and electrical prints.
  • Completes charts and other simple documents to communicate to the team.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by staying in sync with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Required Skills and Education

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of CNC experience and 5-7 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and equipment.
  • Preferred with Fanuc robots for recovery and point adjustment.
  • Ability to drive a forklift, scissor lift, and articulating arm boom truck.
  • Validated experience and ability to use standard maintenance and electrical repair tools and equipment, and operate lifting equipment, computer terminals, and other tools/equipment.
  • Allen Bradley Fanuc and Siemens experience preferred.
  • Experience with troubleshooting
