Job Description Summary

DEUTSCH
• Ganzheitliche Steuerung der Werk-Supply-Chain: Kontinuierliche Optimierung der End-to-End-Logistikprozesse, Definition relevanter KPIs und Benchmarks sowie zielgerichtetes Reporting an die Werksleitung und Corporate SCM.
• Zentrale Führungsrolle im Werk: Führung des Logistikteams, enge Zusammenarbeit mit Produktion, Einkauf und Vertrieb sowie direkter Kundenkontakt zur Sicherstellung von Lieferkettenqualität, Lieferantenperformance und maximaler Liefertreue.

ENGLISH
• End-to-end management of the plant supply chain: continuous optimization of end-to-end logistics processes, definition of relevant KPIs and benchmarks and clear, target-oriented reporting to the Plant Leadership and Corporate SCM.
• Key leadership role at the plant: Leadership of the logistics team, close collaboration with Production, Purchasing and Sales, and direct customer interaction to ensure supply chain quality, supplier performance and maximum delivery reliability.

DEUTSCH

• Steuerung, Koordination und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der logistischen Abläufe im Werk – vom Wareneingang über die Produktionslogistik bis zur termingerechten Kundenbelieferung
• Verantwortung für Bestandsführung, Lagerorte und Inventuren inklusive enger Abstimmung mit der Produktion zur Sicherstellung eines stabilen Warenflusses
• Kontinuierliche Optimierung der Lagerhaltung unterschiedlicher Materialgruppen mit Fokus auf Effizienz, Verfügbarkeit und Kosten
• Durchführung fundierter Analysen im Hinblick auf Unternehmensziele, Marktanforderungen sowie Effizienz‑ und Verbesserungspotenziale
• Erstellung belastbarer Kostenprognosen für Materialien und Entwicklung nachhaltiger Konzepte zur Kostensenkung
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung gesetzlicher Vorgaben, Umweltstandards sowie Arbeits‑ und Sicherheitsrichtlinien
• Enge und regelmäßige Zusammenarbeit mit Einkauf, Vertrieb und Qualitätssicherung
• Führung, Entwicklung und Coaching des Logistik‑Teams einschließlich der strategischen Weiterentwicklung von Kompetenzen sowie der Planung gezielter Weiterbildungsmaßnahmen

ENGLISH

• Management, coordination, and continuous development of all logistics processes within the plant – from inbound goods through production logistics to on-time customer delivery
• Responsibility for inventory management, storage locations, and stocktaking, including close coordination with production to ensure a stable flow of goods
• Continuous optimization of warehousing across different material groups with a focus on efficiency, availability, and cost control
• Conducting in-depth analyses aligned with corporate objectives, market requirements, efficiency, and improvement potential
• Preparing robust cost forecasts for materials and developing sustainable concepts for cost reduction
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, environmental standards, and occupational health and safety regulations
• Close and regular collaboration with procurement, sales, and quality assurance
• Leadership, development, and coaching of the logistics team, including strategic capability development and planning of targeted training and development measures

Required Skills and Education

DEUTSCH

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Logistikmanagement oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung
• Mehrjährige (mind. 7 Jahre) Erfahrung in einer leitenden Funktion innerhalb der Logistik, idealerweise im Automotive‑ oder Industrieumfeld
• Fundierte Expertise im Supply‑Chain‑Management (u. a. Disposition, Auftragsabwicklung, Fertigungs‑ und Kapazitätsplanung) gepaart mit hohem technischem Verständnis
• Solides Grundverständnis rechtlicher Rahmenbedingungen sowie angrenzender regulatorischer Anforderungen
• Praxiserfahrung im Projektmanagement sowie im Umgang mit komplexen, bereichsübergreifenden Themen
• Ausgeprägte Führungskompetenz, lösungsorientierte Denkweise und ein hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein
• Verhandlungssichere Kommunikation, Durchsetzungsstärke und ein professionelles Auftreten auf allen Ebenen
• Sehr gute IT‑Anwenderkenntnisse (MS Office); Erfahrung mit Oracle oder vergleichbaren ERP‑Systemen von Vorteil
• Sehr gute Deutsch‑ und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

ENGLISH

• Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience (at least 7) in a leadership role within logistics, ideally in an automotive or industrial environment
• In-depth expertise in Supply Chain Management (including material planning, order processing, production and capacity planning) combined with a strong technical understanding
• Solid basic knowledge of legal frameworks and related regulatory requirements
• Hands-on experience in project management and handling complex, cross-functional topics
• Strong leadership skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and a high sense of responsibility
• Confident negotiation and communication skills, assertiveness, and a professional demeanor at all organizational levels
• Very good IT user skills (MS Office); experience with Oracle or comparable ERP systems is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken German and English
