Job Description Summary

#TeamAAM is looking for a Supervisor General Stores to join our Driveline team in Three Rivers, Michigan. This is a fully onsite role on the 1st shift.

The Supervisor General Stores will oversee day to day operations on Indirect Material at our Three Rivers Manufacturing Facility. They will provide direction to associates and ensure accountability in several key areas: inventory management, inventory control, data integrity, and proper storage and organization.

The ideal candidate has the ability to lead a significant team effort and energize associates. Experience working in unionized environment is preferred.

Job Description

  • Leads inventory optimization; reviews min/max reorder report daily and makes corrections as needed to ensure proper inventory levels.
  • Ensures compliance of standard operating procedures (SOP's).
  • Provides training to all associates.
  • Reviews work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly.
  • Maintains time keeping for hourly associates.
  • Manages grievances and resolves issues.
  • Provides daily and weekly job and project assignments to associates.
  • Measures performance and tracks continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Performs audits on storeroom operations, such as receiving, cycle counts, disbursements, etc.
  • Resolves discrepancies and data integrity issues.
  • Conducts safety awareness communication.
  • Manages programs and projects with suppliers and commodity managers.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure all tasks and project timing are met.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 3-5+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Stores Management experience.
