#TeamAAM is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a fully onsite position located at our World Headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. This person will report to the Executive Coordinator of the Office of the Chairman and CEO.The primary responsibility of the Administrative Assistant is to provide effective, professional support to executives and the other administrative team members to ensure the smooth function while maintaining a climate of strict confidentiality and discretion.

Job Description
- Manages and maintains executives’ schedules and daily calendars.
- Schedules appointments, arranges meetings.
- Organizes executives’ travel including flights, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and security requirements.
- Files, produces, and retrieves correspondence, memos, reports, presentations, and other documents from drafts, handwritten copies, dictation, etc..
- Edits and proofs all work for correct grammar and spelling.
- Establishes and handles systems for managing office routine; sets up and maintains filing systems; sets up work procedures.
- Reviews and discerns incoming mail, correspondence, memos, submissions, and reports and distribute appropriately.
- Professionally answers/screens telephone calls and determines next steps by either forwarding the call or taking a message.
- Manages and supports follow-up for executives.
- Proactively anticipates future needs and support and executes accordingly.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3+ years of relevant experience as an assistant or secretary, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication, writing, and grammar skills; strong attention to detail.
- Computer knowledge, with excellent Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and other productivity software skills, as well as proficient typing speed.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures as well as business principles.
