Helps analyze operating environment; looks for and identifies process inefficiencies and wastes of time, money, materials, and energy. Conducts time and motion studies.Helps identify improvements, develop business cases, and present to management. Assists in conducting capability studies.Assists in developing and evaluating pilot programs, simulations, and prototypes. Helps implement new and enhanced processes and tools.Supports design of equipment layout and workspace for maximum efficiency. Analyzes and helps to plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.Job Description:
•Assists in developing labor standards by analyzing work samples and methods; measuring work performance.
•Plans and oversees layout of equipment, office, and production facilities.
•Assists in conducting studies in operations to maximize work flow and spatial utilization.
•Ensures facility efficiency and workplace safety.
•Implements work improvement programs by conferring with management and engineering staff.
•Prepares work-analysis information and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
•Assists in the completion work improvement projects by training and guiding operators and supervisors.
•Maintains operations guidelines by writing and updating policies, procedures and methods.
•All other duties as assigned.
