• Acts as HR Manager for the plant, responsible for the full HR lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, talent development and succession through to payroll and departures• Interacts with all employees and leaders at the site, together with other contact persons in the Europe region
Job Description
- Provides advice and guidance to all levels of management on company HR strategy, policies and procedures
- Supports core HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, talent management, learning and development/training, compensation, grading, absenteeism, performance improvement plans, labor relations and leadership development
- Develops the HR strategy, monitors KPIs, participates in organizational development projects and actively shapes changes to processes and practices
- Maintains good communication and a positive relationship with employees, promotes a good social climate and helps to drive employee satisfaction to ensure a positive working environment
- Collaborates closely with other parts of the regional European organization and with the US headquarters
- All other tasks as assigned
Required Skills and Education
- Successfully completed Bachelor or Master Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business Studies, Economics, Law, Psychology or a similar subject area
- At least 8 years of professional experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally in a manufacturing, engineering or automotive environment
- Proven experience in a number of areas of the HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance and appraisals, learning and development, compensation and payroll, disciplinary procedures, severence and/or grievance management
- Sound knowledge of UK employment law in theory and in practical, operative application
- Leadership, training and coaching experience preferred
- High level of personal integrity, autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills and intercultural competence
- Strong communication skills in English
