AAM is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Ridgway, PA.As a Production Supervisor, you will directly manage hourly associates and allocate resources to meet production goals. You’ll oversee planning, scheduling, setup, and execution of daily production activities while ensuring proper material flow and labor alignment. This role includes coordinating with support teams, providing clear direction and training, monitoring performance, and addressing issues as needed. You will also manage equipment maintenance and ensure adherence to process and quality control standards.
Job Description
Supervise production associate outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates.
Communicate job expectations and plan, monitor, and appraise job performance.
Recommend compensation actions and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Maintain production processes by observing volumes and recommending process adjustments.
Complete production tasks by monitoring progress, expediting material flow and work results, and resolving issues.
Improve workflow by eliminating stoppages, analyzing delays, and testing new methods.
Record production data by completing daily shift reports and calculating yields and recoveries.
Maintain process flow by communicating status, needs, and problems to the next shift.
Maintain a working relationship with the union, where applicable, by following the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
Ensure a safe, secure, and compliant work environment by following company standards and legal regulations and reporting concerns.
All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and certifications.
2+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
