#TeamAAM is looking for an Associate Controls Engineer to join our Driveline team in Three Rivers, Michigan. This is an off-shift, fully onsite role. Training will take place on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 3rd shift.The Associate Controls Engineer assists in the design, testing, installation, and maintenance of large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing. They follow established and defined processes and procedures to complete basic projects and solve problems of limited scope.

Job Description
- Assists in evaluating control systems, products, components, and applications.
- Assists in evaluating new manufacturing and control technologies, adapting into specifications as appropriate.
- Confirms control system functionality, including appropriate safety compliance, by designing and/or executing test procedures.
- Assists in the review of layout and electrical drawings; collaborates with related engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and suppliers.
- Ensures integrity of process and build data collection.
- Provides information to manufacturing, process, and other engineering disciplines by answering questions and requests.
- Keeps equipment operating by performing periodic audits; troubleshooting breakdowns; requesting supplies; defining and reviewing preventive maintenance plans; calling for repairs; and implementing process improvements.
- Maintains project documents using approved methodology, tools, and templates.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
High School Diploma or GED.
1+ year(s) of relevant manufacturing experience.
Availability and willingness to adopt a flexible work schedule; this includes working any shift, overtime, and weekends as requested.
