• Familiarity of mechanical maintenance• Previous experience in inventory control
• Familiarity with CNC machinery (Okuma, Fanuc) is preferred
• Familiarity with Forging machinery (Hatebur, Lauffer) is preferred
• Strong mechanical background is required
• Strong electrical skills required
Job Description
- Performs scheduled maintenance on equipment including daily, monthly, and yearly PM’s
- Performs unscheduled maintenance on machines
- Performs PM audits and machine inspections to verify completion and correct execution
- Performs Machine inspections to verify effectiveness of the PM program
- Maintains machining sub-assemblies: (ex: gripper assemblies, chucks, spline arbors, collets, etc.)
- Maintains forging sub-assemblies: (ex: gripper packs, air cylinders, bladder pumps, etc.)
- Assists in inventory control / end of year inventory
Any additional duties as assigned
Required Skills and Education
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong mechanical skills is required
- Basic skills: critical thinking, reading comprehension, blue print reading, communication
- Complex problem solving skills: problem identification, information gathering, information organizing, idea generation, idea evaluation
- Technical skills: troubleshooting, operation monitoring, testing
- Working knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment used in maintenance
- Strong computer skills necessary
- Must be flexible in working hours including overtime, holidays, and different shifts as required
- Strong electrical skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Good attendance
- Must be dependable and safety oriented
- Negative pre-employment drug test
