Job Description Summary

#TeamAAM is looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in Ridgway, PA. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing support to our facility in training, staffing, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, associate relations, and other Human Resources administration duties.

Job Description

  • Develop and lead hourly training initiatives, by collecting and analyzing information, tracking progress, identifying skill gaps, and recommending courses of action.
  • Contribute to ongoing hourly development initiatives, identifying opportunities for skill enhancement and career progression.
  • Track 30-day and 90-day new hire evaluations, ensuring supervisors conduct the reviews timely.
  • Facilitate and track hourly annual performance reviews and support supervisors through the process
  • Finds job applicants by preparing advertisements and job board postings; researching, targeting, and cold-calling potential candidates; calling referrals and developing rapport with job-posting site representatives.
  • Maintains job applicant tracking system by entering and updating sourcing, resume management, tracking, and hiring information.
  • Coordinate hourly onboarding for new hires with company overview information, ethics training, systems access (Workday, Plex, ADP).
  • Completes special human resources projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and prioritizing information; communicating project status and issues; resolving concerns; and preparing reports.
  • Contributes to employee performance by identifying improvement areas, evaluating, and implementing solutions and mentoring managers/employees.
  • Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Contributes to human resources and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.
  • Assist all associates to increase their understanding of their benefits, and enrollment facilitation
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in a Human Resources role
