Job Description Summary

AAM is searching for a Procurement College Co-Op to join our Global Procurement Organization. The position will be based out of our World Headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. This role will report into our Advanced Procurement and Standards team and will be focused on tariff validation and mitigation planning. This is a dynamic area and the ideal candidate must be a quick learner, have the desire to dig into trade compliance processes and use these learnings to drive mitigation plans.

Job Description

  • Quickly come up to speed on trade compliance process and rules.
  • Review, validate, and challenge tariff exposure and impacts.
  • Drive mitigation plans that avoid or eliminate the tariff exposure.
  • Report out to management on status of process and progress of mitigation plan implementation.
  • Interact with cross functional team of Supply Chain Management, Trade Compliance, Procurement, and Finance.

Required Skills and Education

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Engineering fulltime with a graduation date of May 2026 or later
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Able to work year-round at a minimum of 25 hours per week
