AAM is a leader in the powder metal industry with a commitment to safety, quality, and innovation. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forge Setup to join our team.

• Adhere to and follow all Safety policies, JSA’s, and work instructions. Report unsafe behaviors and conditions.
• Ability to understand and perform all quality inspections.
• Set up machines including fixturing, tooling, loading programs, troubleshooting, etc.
• Set up and teach robots in modules using HMI operator interface and robot pendant controller. Touch up robots at all setups and when needed for production quality, ensuring picks and places are always set accurately. Assure the accurate PMs on the robots are performed as needed.
• Responsible for Lube Spray Systems, including building manifolds and accurately maintaining the lube systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• May assume Team Leader responsibilities when required.
• Ensure the equipment functions accurately and safely throughout the shift.
• Assist with training and developing individuals for further company growth.
• Verify that we meet machine efficiencies, quality standards, and reduce scrap levels in the assigned area.
• Perform in a production capacity as needed, including during call-offs and breaks.
• Assist in material handling tasks to maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

Experience in Forge or other manufacturing setups
