Job Description

• Manages production supervisor outcomes by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and correcting behaviors as needed; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures. Sets production and support resource priorities.
• Maintains manufacturing operations by following and enforcing standards and procedures and good manufacturing practices; coordinating production schedule requirements and capabilities; ensuring steady flow of materials; solving production problems; directing equipment adjustments.
• Documents manufacturing results by completing logs, and records; calculating and reporting production; noting variances.
• Maintains quality manufacturing standards by completing production control charts; reporting quality data; analyzing recordings and statistics; studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes.
• Maintains manufacturing equipment and processes by coordinating preventive maintenance actions; scheduling repairs; facilitating team discussions to identify equipment and process problems; identifying solutions.•Maintains safe, secure, and healthy manufacturing environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others regarding potential concerns.
• Contributes to manufacturing and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.

Required Skills and Education

• BS in manufacturing related field or 10 years experience, or a combination of both experience and education.
• 5+ years in leadership
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
