• Einstellung, Betreuung, Schulung und Beratung von Mitgliedern des Finanzteams
• Monatlicher Abschluss
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Richtlinien und der Internal Controls
• Verantwortung für die Bilanz: Koordinierung/Planung mit der Zentrale - Einhaltung der Richtlinien, Kontenabstimmung und -prüfung
• Überwachung und Bewertung der Risiken, denen die Geschäftseinheit ausgesetzt ist: Koordinierung der Pläne mit dem Management 
• Festlegung und Durchführung von Produktivitäts- und Kostensenkungsinitiativen
• Koordinierung von Bestandsbewertung und APIs 
• Kalkulation und Modellierung von Arbeitsverhandlungen 
• Vorbereitung und Verantwortung für ABC-Kosten und Teilerentabilität 
• Rechtzeitige Übermittlung von Finanzangelegenheiten an die Unternehmensleitung, einschließlich Angelegenheiten, die möglicherweise eine besondere buchhalterische Behandlung erfordern, sowie wesentliche Posten (ob Routine oder nicht)
• Entwicklung von Prozessen und Schaffung einer Infrastruktur zur Messung, zum Verständnis und zur Überwachung der Ergebnisse der Geschäftseinheiten im Verhältnis zu Aktionsplänen und Meilensteinen 
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung der lokalen Steuergesetze

• Forecast, budget & long range financial planning: prepare and maintain approved local capital plan appropriation requests, write process and follow to approval local staffing 
• Hire, coach, train and mentor finance team members
• Monthly close 
• Ensure policy compliance and internal controls
• Ownership of balance sheet: coordination/planning with corporate - compliance with policies, account reconciliation and review
• Monitor and evaluate risks the business unit faces: coordinate plans with management 
• Establish and drive execution of productivity and cost reduction initiatives
• Coordination of inventory valuation and API's
• Labor negotiation costing and modeling 
• Preparation and ownership of ABC cost and part profitability 
• Timely communication of financial matters to corporate, including matters that may require special accounting treatment, items that are material (whether routine or not)
• Develop processes and set infrastructure to measure, understand and monitor business unit results relative to action plans and milestones 
• Ensure compliance with local taxation 

Required Skills and Education

ENGLISH

• Degree in finance, accounting or a related field

• Profound experience in financial management, ideally in a manufacturing or technology environment

• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Experience working in a dynamic environment and the ability to adapt quickly and act proactively

• High level of independence and the ability to work as part of and inspire a team

• Experience with the implementation of ERP systems is an advantage

• Strong communication skills in German and English to work effectively with teams in Germany and internationally
