Job Description Summary

The job scope is to ensure an effective working team, a safe working environment, quality product, and maintain continuous operation in accordance with customer orders in an efficient manner. This description provides a general outline of job responsibilities but is not limited to only the functions as detailed herein.

Job Description

• At least 5 years of Maintenance class B experience (or equivalent job experience)
• Advanced understanding of electrical, plumbing and welding
• Maintain overall equipment operation and conduct waste water checks
• Operation and minor maintenance of a variety of hand and power tools
• Safety equipment and practices related to the work, including the handling of hazardous materials.
• Perform routine maintenance activities on equipment including lubrication, inspection, and replacement parts
• Assist with the ordering and inventory of MRO and supply items
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Responsible for completing work orders
• Troubleshooting advanced maintenance problems and determining a solution
• Understanding of Hydraulics, pneumatics, general mechanics and fuel systems
• Use of 5S and general area clean-up
• Operating knowledge of Plexus

Required Skills and Education

Performs a variety of highly skilled maintenance, modification and repair activities and performs related work as required. Understanding of the manufacturing process, daily operations, material handling, quality criteria, safety issues, ISO 14001 and troubleshooting ability. Specific job responsibilities and knowledge as noted in job duties.
