• Key role in developing new products, driving innovation management,
designing the corresponding production processes and ensuring their
feasibility
• Responsible for completing programs on time and meeting the budget for
industrial technical activities

Job Description

Deutsch:

  • Leitung der Abteilungen „Technische Entwicklung“, „Konstruktion“ und „Automatisierung“ mit Personalverantwortung für die jeweiligen Teammitglieder
  • Umsetzung des technischen Investitionsplans
  • Führung und Weiterentwicklung der Teams, sowie Nachfolger- und Headcountplanung
  • Projektleitung, mit besonderem Fokus auf die fachliche Führung der Projekt-Teammitglieder
  • Mitwirkung bei Strategieentwicklung im Führungskreis des Werks
  • Innovative Weiterentwicklung der technischen Fähigkeiten des Werks hinsichtlich:
    • Massivumformung (kalt)
    • Zerspanung
    • Wertstromketten-Automatisierung
  • Ausarbeitung von Prozess- und Produktionsparametern, beispielsweise durch Erstellung von Pflichtenheften
  • Mitwirkung bei der Angebotserstellung, Sicherstellung der Produkt-Herstellbarkeit
  • Ansprechpartner für externe Kunden bzw. interne Abteilungen/Produktionswerke hinsichtlich technischer Fragen bei Neuanläufen und Serienprozessen
  • Ausarbeitung von aktuellen und zukünftigen Werkslayouts, inklusive Begleitung bei Gebäudeerweiterungen oder Umbaumaßnahmen
  • Sicherstellung gesetzlicher und unternehmensinterner Anforderungen an Arbeitssicherheit und Energiemanagement

  • Elaboration of process and production parameters, for example by creating specifications
  • Participation in the preparation of quotations, ensuring product manufacturability
  • Contact person for external customers or internal departments/production plants with regard to technical questions for new start-ups and series processes
  • Development of current and future plant layouts, including support with building extensions or conversion measures
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and internal company requirements for occupational safety and energy management

Required Skills and Education

Deutsch:

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium des Maschinenbaus, der Produktionstechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Disziplin
  • Mindestens 8 Jahre einschlägiger Berufserfahrung, idealerweise im Bereich der Metallumformung und/oder Serienfertigung
  • Mindestens 2 Jahre Führungserfahrung, beispielsweise als Abteilungsleiter*in
  • Fundierte Fachkenntnisse sowie umfassende Praxiserfahrung im Bereich Massivumformung
  • Erfahrung in der Auswahl und Implementierung von Automatisierungslösungen
  • Erfahrung in der Leitung von technischen Projekten
  • Fähigkeit, Ressourcen zu planen und steuern
  • Ausgezeichnete zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

English:

  • Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, production or a comparable discipline
  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the field of metal forming and/or serial production
  • At least 2 years of management experience, e.g. as Department Manager
  • Sound technical knowledge and extensive practical experience in the field of massive forming
  • Experience in the selection and implementation of automation solutions
  • Experience in the management of technical projects
  • Ability to plan and manage resources
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
